NYC Department Of Buildings Shuts Down Hundreds Of Construction Sites In June Inspection Sweep
Hundreds of construction sites across New York City have been shut down this month by the Department of Buildings.
The DOB said it has done safety inspections at more than 2,100 locations since June 1 in response to recent work-related deaths.
Inspectors issued stop-work orders at 322 construction sites because of hazardous conditions.
