Card Issuance Guidelines

The Department is recommending that Course Providers follow the card guidelines in RCNY105-03 located at//www1.nyc.gov/site/buildings/industry/become-course-provider.page , as it pertains to the Site Safety Card(s) Issuance process. For your reference, please refer to image above. All NYC Safety has just been approved by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) to begin issuing SST Cards to both Workers and Supervisors who have completed their Local Law 196 training. Employers Must Post Injury/Illness Summary By April 30

The deadline to post a copy of OSHA form 300A is fast approaching. Employers are required to post a copy of OSHA Form 300A from Feb. 1 through April 30. The summary must be displayed in a common area where notices to workers are usually posted. Businesses with 10 or fewer workers and those in certain low-hazard industries are exempt from OSHA recordkeeping and posting requirements. Less Than Two Months Until The Local Law 196 Deadline!

The Local Law 196 deadline for the Limited SST card and Supervisor SST Card is right around the corner. Local Law 196 requires certain workers and supervisors to receive safety training at construction sites that are required to designate a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager. Workers will need a minimum of 30 hours of training to attain a Limited SST Card by June 1, 2019. Supervisors will need 62 hours of training by June 1, 2019, including a 30-Hour OSHA course to attain a Supervisor SST Card.
